Peakes Wharf

CADC completed a major development project on the Charlottetown waterfront in 1989. Peake’s Wharf lies at the foot of historic Great George Street. This project included a 150 slip, full service marina, seasonal retail shops, and a restaurant and bar. It is the site of numerous seasonal activities for the public including outdoor concerts and is adjacent to Confederation Landing Park, the site of the City’s main seasonal festivals and events. Peake’s Wharf retail space is leased to a number of well known retail businesses including Cows, Paderno and Ms. Peakes Fancy Goods.

A main feature of Peake’s Wharf is the waterfront public pedestrian boardwalk. This boardwalk connects to the 5 km waterfront boardwalk/walkway system, which is one of Charlottetown’s most well used and important infrastructure elements.
